Hiatus Already
I didn't realize this when I started my blog last week, but we are about to have family over and then we're going on holiday. The blog will unfortunately not be updated until our return on August 11th. My apologies for the poor timing. :/

Kythia@Brisesol
Once upon a time, in the crafting room of Tempest Bay, Gwedhiel encountered an adorably dressed High Elf named Kythia. She absolutely loved Kythia's outfit so much, she snapped a shot of it to save in her journal for posterity.
For those who don't know these items, I will attempt to list them for you, although Gwed didn't jot down the specific pieces in her journal at the time. Please feel free to comment below if you happen to know what she's wearing.
The items listed as "coming soon" is because Rift is currently in its maintenance window for the Summerfest Event and 4.2. So, as soon as I can log back in, I'll get those names for you. "X" marks an answer I don't have, but feel free to comment below if you know! :)

Here's To First Attempts
Back in April (I believe) I opened my first dimension to the public. I had been working on it since March 2016, so, just over a year. I don't know how many times I built something, tore it down, built it again, tore it down again, lather-rinse-repeat—I'm sure any dimensionerds know exactly what I'm talking about...
Some time in January I think it was, I thought I was close to finishing. I was taking screenshots of it, I was so excited. Then, a friend came along and mentioned I seemed to have a window problem. It made me rethink my whole design, and even though I wanted to cry, I decided to take it all apart again and build from scratch.
Anyhow, here are the screenshots I took of that first attempt, hope you enjoy the "blooper real", despite my windowitis. :D
Unfortunately, I seem to have lost or forgotten to take screenshots of the second floor, or of the kitchen. I seriously remember taking them, but at my age, who knows. ;)
Before I go, might I just mention... Since taking these screenshots, I've had to re-install my computer. When I did, even though I saved all my files including the add-on files, all my saved sets for TinkerTools were gone.

The inn's facade, from my magic carpet. ;) I tried to use the space's natural treaded areas to guide where things should be. |
The open-fronted mount tethering area for the beasts. |
Side view, from the magic carpet. Notice the loo, no rear balcony or door. |
The rear of the inn. I realize now how ordinary my chimney looked. Not to mention the back was a little boring to look at too. |
The front garden—I felt it was important that the inn should have its own basic staples. |
A different view of the facade, again from the vantage of my magic carpet. |
A view of the great room from the far left side, as you enter. I was so excited to put patrons in there! |
This time, a view of the great room from the opposite corner. (I was still finishing up some details, so the bar was not complete.) |
A cozy and welcoming shot of the great room and the stair case. You can see there was an open mezzanine looking down on the fireplace. My whole build (of the inn) was based around that fire place. |
There was place for people to sit at tables and eat, as well as sit back with a pint, around a barrel and just relax. |
Looking down at the great room from the staircase landing. |
A peek at the second story hallway. Notice the chimney going up across the span of the inn's height. |

A Breakdown of The Daily Gwed
Hello fellow Riftians and Riftorites, and welcome to The Daily Gwed. I wanted to take a few minutes to give you a quick run-down of how the site will be organized, though things should be self-explanatory. Here is a list of the categories I've decided on so far, though others may be added in future.
Some times these adventures happen during actual roleplay, or just off the main stage. Other times, the stories will be completely fictional, as in it was never played out, or I decided to go play it out in the "open world" all by my lonesome. (That's what I used to do in WoW as our guild wasn't into roleplay.)
To read these stories, look for the General News label.
If fashion is what you're looking for, then you've come to the right place, as I plan to post screenshots of characters I meet during my characters' travels throughout Telara. To access those entries, look for the Fashion label.
Click to the Home & Garden category, to peruse screenshots of my own work, as well as dimensions that I love.

General News
As I am a sporadic roleplayer, I like to write flash fiction and short stories relating my characters' adventures and backstories. Some times these adventures happen during actual roleplay, or just off the main stage. Other times, the stories will be completely fictional, as in it was never played out, or I decided to go play it out in the "open world" all by my lonesome. Fashion
As mentioned previously, I am a lover of MMO fashion, and Rift has given me my heart's delight by providing a "saved appearance window" where I can mix and match pieces, styles, and armor class, and color them to boot! All without busting the bank. (Well, some wardrobe appearances and colors are only available for credits (which can only be purchased for real money through the Rift Store), but you can still pull off an awful lot of looks without spending a dime.)If fashion is what you're looking for, then you've come to the right place, as I plan to post screenshots of characters I meet during my characters' travels throughout Telara. Home & Garden
In real life, I love decorating, and I love dollhouses. On occasion, I like to randomly visit dimensions, as well as build and play in my own. (I currently have one character on every EU shard that is above level 10, to visit and +1 dimensions I like.)Click to the Home & Garden category, to peruse screenshots of my own work, as well as dimensions that I love.

Introductions
Hi! Welcome to The Daily Gwed! Thought I'd break the ice for this first post with a welcome message (typical, I know).
Good! Great! Now that that's out of the way, let me make the introductions.
Gwedhiel is just another pretty elven face in the world of Rift, going about her leveling and platinum grind like everyone else. But she has a secret.
She is actually possessed. *gasp!* She is possessed by the slightly distracted, creative and quirky spirit of a woman, with stories jam-packed in her head, crowding in there so tightly that they've bottle-necked like a four-lane highway into a residential zone, and no one is getting anywhere. Ergo, together, they've decided to create this blog to ease the congestion, and have a bit of fun in the process. *cackle!*
First of all, you may know me (a.k.a. the spirit haunting Gwed) from WoW, as I am none other than the alter-ego of Arathor's very own Anoukisse. A few years ago, wanting—nay, needing—a life, I quit the game and spent many a day doing other stuff. Then, we moved far away from friends and family, from Quebec (CA) to Hampshire (UK), and I started to crave a bit of company, albeit of the digital variety, to break the monotony of my days.
At that point, I rediscovered Rift, which now had a few new hooks to lure me in: Dimensions and Wardrobes! (Every grown-up Barbie-lover's dream!) Enter Chickie, who introduced me to the secret world of in-game role-playing, and that was it. Since then, Rift has become my game of choice, offering so many ways to pass the time it's almost frightening.
I will mostly be posting here for my own satisfaction. But hopefully, I will also entertain a handful of people too. For those of you sticking around, there are going to be an awful lot of wardrobe and dimension screenshots coming this way. You've been warned. *wink*
Cheers! Gwed

Sshh. Come closer, let me tell you... |
